Evan and Tiki were live on the air when news broke that Mike Williams was signing a one-year deal with the Jets, and just 24 hours after proclaiming that Gang Green was one of the best teams in the league on paper, Evan was even giddier after learning that his team had its WR2.
“There we go!” Evan said. “Mike Williams said ‘the offensive line is fixed, Aaron Rodgers isn’t running for vice president, let’s go!’
“I’m so scared about how good I’m feeling right now. This scares me, how good I feel. I feel so freaking good about this team.”
Williams is a prolific receiver when healthy, and while he does come with injury concerns, Evan loves the signing on a one-year deal, much like offensive tackle Tyron Smith.
“I know Mike Williams had the torn ACL,” Evan said. “But on a one-year deal?”
