Woody Johnson and the Jets unveiled their new uniform plans just as Super Bowl XLVIII was ending, and Evan was not happy about the timing or the optics, to say the least.
In a spirited rant, Evan sounded off on his favorite team, which he continues to have a “hate/love” relationship with.
“Do you really want to know how pathetic the New York Jets are?” Evan said. “The New York Jets tweet out a hype video about how they’re gonna have new uniforms in 2024, you clueless, pathetic bastards. The Super Bowl is occurring! A guy you got rid of scored the game-winning touchdown, and you can’t wait to go on social media and say ‘Hey, we got new unis coming in 2024!’
“You talk about clueless, you talk about tone deaf. I hate/love my team. I love them because I will always root for them, and I hate them because they’re idiots.”
Evan could care less about the Jets uniforms, especially right as a failed receiver in New York is hauling in the game-winning pass in the Super Bowl for another team.
“Woody Johnson is obsessed with uniforms, colors, logos,” Evan said. “He thinks that’s gonna make us feel better…he is clueless. This franchise it clueless.”
