Gio doesn't get why Aaron Rodgers would want to keep playing at this point

Aaron Rodgers missed a potential touchdown throw, then threw a historic pick six in an eventual Jets loss.

The 41-year-old also failed once again to orchestrate a game-winning drive late in the game, as the Jets fell to 0-5 with Rodgers when the future Hall of Famer has a chance to tie or win the game down the stretch. For Gio, he doesn’t understand why Rodgers would continue playing at this point.

“I don’t know why he would want to play anymore. I don’t know why the Jets would want to throw him out there anymore. I don’t know why we’re doing this,” Gio said.

“I don’t even know what I would do if I’m him anymore...this is just so bad, and it isn’t getting better.”

Rodgers was supposed to be the star who led the Jets out of their chronic losing, but instead, the team has gotten worse, to the point where Gio can’t bear to watch it anymore, and doesn’t understand why Rodgers would want to keep enduring it at his age.

“I had this game on the four box on YouTube TV...and even then, it was sucking the life out of me,” Gio said. “They’re just so hard to watch.

“I know he said he doesn’t want to go out like this, but he’s going out like this. It’s just getting worse and worse.”
