Sauce Gardner fired off a couple tweets on Wednesday as “LeSauce,” playing GM of the Jets and giving his insight into what he thinks the team should do this offseason.
Gio says it is just the latest example of a Jets player doing whatever they want on social media with no fear of consequence by those in charge.
“Rob Saleh has no control of these guys,” Gio said. “I can give you example after example, from liking the ‘Zach Wilson sucks’ tweets…it’s just on and on.
“I’m not so naïve or so much of a stickler or old man to say this isn’t fun at all, I get he’s having fun and it really doesn’t matter. But if I’m Joe Douglas, I’m like, ‘Just shut up, man!’ You can’t be telling everybody what you want on the team!”
