Haason Reddick holding out of Jets training camp seeking new contract

Former Philadelphia Eagles pass rusher Haason Reddick is holding out of New York Jets training camp as he seeks a new contract extension, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

Reddick skipped all of his new team's voluntary offseason team activities, as well.

Reddick, 29, is in the final year of a three-year, $45 million contract he signed with the Eagles, where he has a base salary of $14.25 million and no guaranteed money after 2024.

When asked by the Jets media on April 1st about his contract situation, Reddick said, "All options are open."

Howie Roseman and the Eagles controversially traded the elite pass rusher on April 1st to the Jets for a conditional third-round draft pick.

Now, Eagles fans are wondering if Roseman sensed something brewing between Reddick and the organization regarding a potential new contract.
