Brandon Tierney found out live on Thursday’s show that his Jets reportedly only have one primetime game on their 2022 slate, and it’s not a very appealing matchup.

According to the New York Post, Gang Green will only play under the lights on Dec. 22 against the Jaguars on Thursday Night Football, a battle between two of the worst teams in the league last season.

For BT, that was a clear message from the NFL that it doesn’t think too highly of New York’s chances for dramatic improvement this season.

“December 22? Really?” Tierney said. “Man, they’re expecting nothing from my boys.”

But BT says he isn’t sweating it, and by the time Gang Green hosts Jacksonville in December, the team will be in a much different spot than many are expecting.

“That’s OK,” Tierney said. “You’re gonna eat it soon.”
