Aaron Rodgers said earlier this week that his recovery from his Achilles surgery was particularly frustrating this past week, as he didn’t progress the way he felt he should.
It certainly seemed like he was progressing well before Sunday’s game against the Giants.
With rain coming down at MetLife Stadium, Rodgers was out on the turf throwing passes, and this time lightly going through dropbacks before firing off passes. It was a step up from throwing the ball while stationary before the Jets win over the Eagles two weeks back.
Rodgers has raved about the procedure to repair his torn Achilles, and hasn’t hid the fact that he wants to return this season, which would be unprecedented given the injury and the typical recovery timeline.
