The Jets are apparently taking Aaron Rodgers’ glowing review of Odell Beckham Jr. very seriously.
According to Connor Hughes of SNY, Gang Green’s interest in the free agent wide receiver is “very real,” and Beckham has talked with Rodgers about playing together in New York.
Multiple reports previously linked the Jets as one of the top teams who have been most active in discussions with Beckham, who didn’t play at all last season after tearing his ACL in the Super Bowl with the Rams. The Jets still haven’t been able to finish a trade for Rodgers, but he has voiced his intent to play for Gang Green next season.
The Jets have already been active on the wide receiver front this offseason, acquiring Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman while dealing away Elijah Moore for a second-round pick that can potentially be used in a package for Rodgers.
