Mac Jones was traded to the Jaguars for a sixth-round pick, as the Patriots former starting quarterback is off to back up Trevor Lawrence.
Given the fact that Jones netted just one late-round pick, Gio doesn’t believe the Jets should even bother trying to get draft compensation for Zach Wilson.
“Nothing,” Gio said when asked what Gang Green could get in return for the former No. 2 pick. “They’re not gonna be able to trade him.
“If anybody gives up anything for Zach Wilson, they’re crazy. The Jets have to cut him.”
