Jets QB Zach Wilson will not return after sustaining knee injury

New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson continues to get bruised and battered and this time it knocked him out of the game.

The rookie left Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots early in the second quarter with a knee injury, which he had sustained earlier in the game.

Wilson was tackled by Matthew Judon at the Patriots 48-yard line and was evaluated on the field before limping up with no help and returning to play.

He would later leave for the locker room, though, and was replaced by Mike White, a fourth-year veteran who had never completed a pass int eh NFL before.

Naturally, he connected with Corey Davis for a 3-yard touchdown his first career pass.
