The Jets have reportedly added yet another former Aaron Rodgers teammate to the fold.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Gang Green has signed quarterback Tim Boyle to a one-year deal, reuniting the former Packers backup with Nathaniel Hackett and, the Jets hope, Rodgers.
Boyle played two seasons in Green Bay and appeared in 11 games, throwing just four passes in that span. He made three starts in 2021 for the Lions, going 0-3-0, and appeared in just one game for the Bears last season.
The Jets were expected to add another quarterback this offseason to slot in behind backup Zach Wilson on the depth chart, and QB1 still remains vacant as the team continues to work toward a deal for Rodgers.
