Tiki and Tierney reacted live on Wednesday to news of Zach Wilson’s injury likely keeping him off the field until Week 4, and much like Gio reacting on Thursday morning, BT couldn’t believe the news.
“How do we go from possibly playing Week 1 to he’s out for the first month?” BT said.
Tiki believes Saleh could be using it as a measure to dodge more questions about Wilson’s availability, which he has fielded since the young quarterback suffered a torn meniscus and bone bruise in preseason action.
“By saying he’s not going to be available until Pittsburgh, he’s hoping to stem the questions,” Tiki said. “He gave himself a back door. He said ‘Hey, could be shorter.’ He’s just trying to stop being asked the question.”
