Keith has little to no faith in the current Jets regime after what will be another losing season, with the exception of one coach in defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich.
If Keith were in Ulbrich’s shoes, he would try to get out of New York as soon as possible.
“You should look to get out,” Keith said. “If you get any opportunities to interview for a head coaching job or even a defensive coordinator job with one of these new head coaches, take it and run. This is a mess over here.”
Ulbrich’s defense is the strongest part of the Jets roster, but Keith has a hard time seeing the rest of the roster being ready to compete over the next couple of years, so Ulbrich should find a place with a better chance to win.
“He’s going to be another year older, another year removed from football,” Keith said. “They need a lot more than Aaron Rodgers to fix this offense.”
