As Robert Saleh fields questions about what the Jets could have done differently with Zach Wilson, Keith says the head coach will likely be back next year, though he doesn’t think it will be the right decision.
“He’s just not the guy,” Keith said. “We all know that, but he’s gonna be the guy next year, because he hasn’t had a quarterback. But he’s not the guy.
“All season leading up to this, backing Zach Wilson, then pleading the fifth…you couldn’t stop the bleeding.”
Saleh looks to be once again on his way to a losing season with the Jets after riding the Wilson train into the ground, but Keith believes Saleh will be given another chance with a more capable quarterback, likely a healthy Aaron Rodgers to begin next season.
