Keith was sick of talking about Aaron Rodgers by the end of last season, and now, amid reports that Robert Kennedy is considering him to be his running mate for a presidential campaign, he is really fed up with the conversation around the polarizing quarterback.
“Just hang it up, bro,” Keith said. “Go join Robert Kennedy about potentially being his vice president.
“Aaron Rodgers has his hands in everything. This guy is so smart, he can do it all. Just play quarterback bro. Just lock in and take the Jets to the playoffs. That’s all we want. That’s all we want to see.”
Jets fans have only gotten to see that for four plays so far, and Keith wonders how invested Rodgers is in the home stretch of his Hall of Fame career, as so much of the narrative in his debut season was based around things he said off the field, including things that had nothing to do with football, like his feud with Jimmy Kimmel.
