Keith: When does Aaron Rodgers start getting blame for state of Jets?

Keith McPherson believes the Jets making a coaching change could help jolt the team to a place where they are eventually competing to end their painful playoff drought, but he says the future Hall of Fame quarterback isn’t getting enough heat for the continued dysfunction around the organization.

“We’re gonna keep singing this Aaron Rodgers song,” Keith said. “I definitely think [Robert Saleh] lost Aaron Rodgers. But Aaron Rodgers doesn’t get the blame for throwing three interceptions? Nobody wants to blame Aaron Rodgers. We’ve been talking about Aaron Rodgers all day every day for too long, with no results.”

Rodgers hasn’t been playing well over the last two weeks, throwing those three picks against the Vikings on Sunday in London after failing to reach the end zone against the Broncos the week before. Keith says there has been too much Rodgers talk since he arrived in New York, but not enough talk when it comes to assessing blame to the one constant through all the drama.

“The Jets were a mess long before you showed up. They’re still a mess,” Keith said. “This might not solve anything.”
