Sunday’s AFC East showdown between the New York Jets and New England Patriots was not the most exciting football game to watch — but it did have the most exciting finish.
The Patriots won the game in the final seconds when Marcus Jones returned a punt for an 84-yard game-winning touchdown with five seconds remaining to lift New England to a 10-3 victory.
The ending sent the Patriots faithful into jubilation while Jets fans watched in utter shock and disgust as they fell to the Patriots for the 14th consecutive time.
