Mecole Hardman hauled in the game-winning touchdown pass to clinch a second straight Super Bowl for the Chiefs, which C-Mac said was one last dig at the Jets before what was an incredibly disappointing New York football season came to an end.

“They couldn’t figure out a way to make it work,” C-Mac said. “[Nathaniel] Hackett and that Jets offense couldn’t figure out a way to involved Mecole Hardman in what was undoubtedly the worst offense in the NFL for most of the year.

“Couldn’t figure out how to use him. He goes back to Kansas City, he makes a 50-yard bomb catch…gets the biggest play of the game yards-wise, and gets the game-winning touchdown to get the Chiefs their third Super Bowl and back-to-back.”

Hardman is the hero, and the Jets are left lamenting a castoff celebrating on the field with confetti pouring down, as they wait another year to try and end the longest active playoff drought in the four major sports.

“No one could help these Jets,” C-Mac said. “That’s just one more kick in the nuts as you move forward as a Jets fan and try to put this 13-year playoff drought behind you.”
