Mekhi Becton underwent successful surgery to repair MCL and cartilage damage and a dislocated kneecap in his right leg on Tuesday, and he is expected to miss four to eight weeks.
However, Becton is in good spirits, as he showed by Tweeting a photo of his bandaged knee following the procedure:
Becton suffered the injury in the Jets’ Week 1 loss in Carolina, and was carted off the field. He had a second opinion before deciding to have the surgery.
