With the game all over but the shouting, the Jets saw Mike White leave a third straight game due to injury late in the fourth quarter of their blowout loss to Buffalo - at least this time, though, like the first, it wasn't serious.

White was sacked by Efe Obada on a third and 11 play with about five minutes left, but A.J. Epanesa was called for roughing the passer after coming in and hitting White in the upper back and head while he was being sacked. That kept the Jets’ drive alive, although White was brought to the medical tent to be evaluated through concussion protocol after the hit, and remained out for the rest of the day.

"I just landed on the ball and got the wind knocked out of me," White said. "I got to the sideline and was fine, but we just didn't get the ball back."

Joe Flacco replaced White, making his Jets re-debut after being acquired from Philadelphia prior to the trade deadline. Flacco led the Jets to their second touchdown of the day, going 3-for-3 for 47 yards including this 15-yard pass to Elijah Moore:

Flacco was active for the first time as a Jet, having been inactive for his first two games while practice squad call-up Josh Johnson, who replaced White in Indianapolis, served as the backup.

White missed most of last Thursday’s game in Indianapolis after suffering a forearm injury on a first-quarter touchdown pass, and was 24-of-44 for 251 yards with four interceptions on Sunday. White had quite the coming out party in a win over Cincinnati two weeks ago, but overall in four games this season, he is  coming out party against Cincinnati two weeks ago, White is 88-of-132 for 953 yards, with five touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Zach Wilson worked out before the game despite White being named the starter earlier in the week, and now, it remains to wonder both why White was still in a game that was 45-10 late in the fourth, and whether or not Wilson will regain his starting spot next Sunday against Miami.

"(Wilson) is still dealing with some stuff, so we'll see what tomorrow brings when we get through the injuries," head coach Robert Saleh said after the game.
