Morash says Jets showed they aren't going anywhere this season: 'Brutal win'

Shaun Morash lamented the collapse by the Giants in Sunday’s overtime loss to the Jets, allowing Zach Wilson and Gang Green to march down the field in under 30 seconds to kick a game-tying field goal as time expired in regulation before picking up the victory.

While he congratulated Jets fans for the win, regardless of how ugly it was, he also declared that Gang Green’s season isn’t going anywhere, despite being 4-3 through seven games.

“The Jets aren’t going anywhere,” Morash said. “They can barely beat Tommy DeVito.

“Actually a brutal win for the Jets,” Morash added. “They learn they aren’t any good today, learn they aren’t a playoff team, and now cost themselves higher in the draft for an actual QB. With every minute that passes you realize how bad a shape the Jets are in now moving forward. Sucks to suck.”

As for the Giants, Morash envisions the team selling before Tuesday’s trade deadline, as their season is now over. He doesn’t envision much better things for Gang Green, even after a second straight win.

“Another season of two crappy teams in New York,” Morash said. “Let’s go Rangers.”
