Morash: Revamped Jets have more question marks than Yankees

As Evan celebrated the Jets signing Mike Williams to a one-year deal, Morash threw some cold water on his buzzing excitement.

“The Jets had a good offseason,” Morash said. “But every Jets signing feels like it’s started with this: ‘I know he has an injury history, but…’ When you start adding up those, it becomes a lot of ifs, ands, or buts. The Jets, on paper, if everybody is healthy, this is a great offseason. However, they have way more question marks than the Yankees, who you’re basically like ‘Be careful.’”


Williams, Tyron Smith, and Aaron Rodgers represent players at key positions that will carry injury concerns, while Alijah Vera-Tucker is another unknown on the offensive line due to his injury history. With that in mind, Morash says Jets fans should have some caution before being overcome with excitement for a second straight offseason.

“Who should be more concerned right now, Jets fans or Knicks fans with their injury concerns?”
