Amid the bombshell report by The Athletic about the dysfunction within the Jets organization this season, Morash can’t believe Evan still believes the current best path forward for the team is still with Robert Saleh as the head coach.
“It's a gift from the Gods,” Morash said. “It should be for Jet fans, for Woody Johnson, this article today in The Athletic, that it's not too late. We are entering disaster zone. We are about to waste a year on this earth for Jet fans like Joe who ain't getting any younger, where you know, ‘It's a Hail Mary.’ No, no, no BS of a Hail Mary. You should be as all in as possible with Rodgers, and that's having the best head coach possible. Not a guy incapable of doing the job!”
Evan didn’t agree, and it led to Morash going off on Saleh and his job with Gang Green up to this point, which has included three seasons of double-digit losses.
“It's BS now. I'm tired of the crap football in this town!” Morash said. “We got Aaron Rodgers here. Go get the best head coach in place. This guy sucks! He gives you no shot to win!
“He walks around like a loser telling everybody in that office, ‘What do guys do without their quarterbacks?’ I don't know, Kevin Stefanski got off his ass with Joe Flacco and made the playoffs. He's wrong. He's full of excuses. He's a nice guy. He's not equipped to do this job.”
