Quinnen Williams wins AFC Defensive Player of the Month

Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month for the month of October.

Williams, an anchor of Gang Green’s much improved defense from last season, logged 13 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four TFLs, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery during the calendar month, a span of five games.

He was named Defensive Player of the Week in Week 6 after his two-sack day against the Packers.

Williams’ six sacks on the season are tied for second in the league.
