Well, Aaron Rodgers has come and reportedly gone and no deal is in place.
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports that Rodgers left the Steelers facility on the South Side Friday afternoon without a deal to come to Pittsburgh.
“The two side have yet to come to an agreement at this time,” said Russini.
The PM Team reacted to the visit and Donny Football thinks that while Rodgers visiting Pittsburgh is a sign he’s leaning toward signing with the Steelers.
But both Donny football and Andrew Fillipponi say it isn’t a sign that he’ll sign with the Pittsburgh, or make a final decision, anytime soon.
“The fact that he decided to do Pittsburgh first before New York, I think he tips his hand into who he prefers or who he likes more,” said Poni.
After it was reported earlier this week the Minnesota Vikings were out on Rodgers, it was down to the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers or retirement.
But there is another option.
Rodgers waits into the summer and sees if a good team loses a starting quarterback to injury.
More developments in the Aaron Rodgers saga, but no resolution.
