Mike White will be under center when the Jets take on the Bills in Week 10, head coach Robert Saleh announced on Wednesday morning.

White, who burst onto the scene with a 405-yard performance in his first career start in a Week 8 win over the Bengals, suffered a forearm injury in New York’s Week 9 blowout loss to the Colts, but it won’t keep him from making his third straight start.

Zach Wilson will remain out as he continues to recover from a PCL injury, and Joe Flacco will serve as the backup on Sunday, ahead of Josh Johnson.

While Wilson will remain out, he did practice on Wednesday, along with White.

White was off to a solid start in the loss to the Colts, but felt discomfort in his right forearm after throwing a touchdown pass in the first quarter. He struggled to grip the ball afterward but felt he could return to the game in the fourth quarter, but the team decided against it with the game already out of reach.

As for what the quarterback landscape will look like when Wilson is fully healthy and ready to return, Saleh still wouldn’t commit to who the starter would be. Wilson is the team’s second overall pick and the hopeful franchise quarterback of the future, but has struggled in his rookie season, while White has given the offense a jolt, at least before he had to leave last week’s game.
