Justin Fields predicted big Aaron Judge home run just before it happened: 'What did I say!'

Justin Fields had a front-row seat to Aaron Judge’s continued tear on Wednesday night, and he called the star slugger’s game-winning home run just before it left the park.

The new Jets quarterback posted a video to his Instagram page of Judge at the plate in a tie game, and just before the 1-0 pitch, Fields could be heard saying, “Gonna see a bomb right here.” Sure enough, on the next pitch, Judge went the opposite way for a solo shot to raise his batting average to .409 on the year.

“What did I say!” Fields said as Judge rounded the bases.

Judge’s homer, his seventh of the year, snapped an 11-game homerless streak, although that hadn’t stopped him from hitting. The Yankee captain was batting over .400 during that home run “drought,” but now that drought is over after Fields predicted that it was about to come to an end.
