It’s official: Schmooze time is almost over, and breakdowns are coming to WFAN.
As announced on Wednesday’s Carton & Roberts Show, Keith McPherson of Jomboy Media will be taking over as WFAN’s evening host, airing 7 p.m.-midnight Monday through Friday (times subject to change due to live sports coverage) beginning Nov. 22.

McPherson joins WFAN from Jomboy Media, where he has worked since January 2020 as a social media manager and podcast host for Talkin’ Nets and Pinstripe Strong, among others. Keith has also worked for Roc Nation, MTV, and Major League Baseball.
“This is really a dream come true,” McPherson said in an official WFAN release. “I find no greater joy or entertainment than live sports and it's a blessing and an honor to have this opportunity at a place like WFAN. I look forward to talking sports every day in New York and helping to lead this station into the future.”
Steve Somers, who has been hosting the 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. timeslot in recent months, announced last month that he would be winding down his full-time days on WFAN this fall, and officially announced on Tuesday into Wednesday’s show that Friday will be his final day on the air.
