As conference championship weekend approaches, Keith finds himself counting down the days until football is over.

“I’m glad football is almost over. It’s the same thing, rinse and repeat,” Keith said. “Same franchises, same coaches, same quarterbacks, same fanbases…I just keep coming around to the fact that I need baseball.

“You could have called this final four in Week 12 or 13.”

The Lions are in an NFC title game for the first time in 31 years, but have been one of the top teams in the league since beating the Chiefs in Week 1. Kansas City is once again playing for a spot in the Super Bowl, as are the 49ers. Between the familiar teams and names, and the officiating, Keith is fed up.

“The NFL is bogus if you’re really paying attention,” Keith said. “The officiating is trash, and it’s standard. Every game. Whether it’s the spotting of the ball, a missed call, late flag, a makeup call.

“You’re affecting playoff games! I have football fatigue. I love the game of football, but watching the NFL product, that’s what I have fatigue with.”
