Kevin Durant wasn't on the court during the Nets' improbable comeback win over the Knicks on Wednesday night, but he made his presence known on Twitter when it was all over.
Durant, criticized for choosing the Nets over the Knicks, who are widely considered to own basketball fandom in New York City, trolled the Madison Square Garden fans after they were stunned to witness a 28-point lead evaporate into another crushing loss.
"Nets fans were loud in the Barc…I mean the Garden tonight," Durant said, hinting that the crowd noise reflected more of a home game for Brooklyn than New York.
Durant is still recovering from a sprained MCL, and Knicks fans are still recovering from the team's third 20-point lead squandered in the past 11 days.
