After watching Tuesday’s Knicks win in Brooklyn, and hearing the large contingent of New York fans in the Barclays Center, C-Mac says the Knicks and Nets just can’t be called a rivalry at this point.

Not when it’s so lopsided on the court and in the stands.

“What a rivalry it is, that Knicks/Nets,” C-Mac said sarcastically. “I’m sorry, you can’t tell me this is any kind of rivalry when you watch the games, and the Knicks go into that building, and it’s Madison Square Garden 2.

“You got MVP chants for Jalen Brunson in the second quarter! The whole game, it sounds like they’re in Madison Square Garden.”

The Knicks needed a fourth-quarter comeback to pull off the win, but the crowd was loud for New York during those final 12 minutes, cheering on the Knicks before they completed a fourth straight win over Brooklyn. It was enough for C-Mac to declare the rivalry dead.

“I thought they were at the Garden,” C-Mac said. “You watch that game last night, I’m sorry, that’s a Knick game last night.”
