Boomer & Gio don't know how to feel after Knicks win game two despite injury scares

Boomer and Gio opened Thursday's show with mixed emotions after the Knicks' inspiring game two victory at Madison Square Garden.

On one hand, New York overcame injuries to Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby and still diced up the Pacers defense, but on the other, there is some uncertainty around Brunson's foot despite returning to the game, and a lot of concern about Anunoby after limping to the locker room with a hamstring injury and did not return.

"Man, I don't know how to feel this morning," Gio said. "Everything might have changed for this team…they're up 2-0, but I'm confused."

For Boomer, he kept his focus mainly on the character of the Knicks to fight back and go on a miraculous third quarter run, which didn't surprise him given the fight he has seen from the team all season.

"It's a testament to the guts and the inner culture that this team has," Boomer said.

On the flip side, Boomer saw these Knicks fight and claw just to be a .500 team earlier this year after Anunoby underwent elbow surgery while Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson were sidelined.

"If he doesn't play," Boomer said of Anunoby. "We're right back to where we were in mid-February."
