The Knicks host their first playoff game at Madison Square Garden since 2021 on Friday night, and BT says the anticipated return home also brings the pressure of a must-win scenario for New York.
"Must win game," BT said. "Absolute, unequivocal, must win game. The Knicks must win."
The Knicks stole a game on the road in game one, and a 2-1 series hole certainly doesn't spell doom for the series. But BT believes, given the way the 'Bockers have looked so far this series, that taking game three is absolutely critical.
"They've been wretched," BT said. "They haven't played a good game yet. They won the first game, but didn't play particularly well."
With that said, BT believes a return home, and the raucous atmosphere that awaits, will kick the Knicks into a higher gear of efficiency than what they showed through two games in Cleveland.
"Everything that transpired in game two, take it, flush it, delete it, lose it," BT said. "Because that ain't happening in game three."
