A video went viral on Friday night after the Knicks were eliminated by the Heat, as fans back at MSG were seen stomping on a poster of Julius Randle as they left the game six watch party at The World’s Most Famous Arena.
That was a step way too far in the eyes of BT, who can’t believe how quickly fans can forget about Randle’s contributions to the franchise in two of the last three years.
“How blatantly disrespectful can you be?” BT said. “How childish can you be?
“If I’m Julius Randle, I’m not so sure I want to stay a Knick.”
It was only a small cluster of fans, though many more voiced their frustrations regarding Randle after he was ineffective once again in the postseason, and now, many want him out of New York after another All-NBA season. For BT, voicing a desire to trade Randle is fine, but disrespecting him like those Knicks fans did with his poster is inexplicable.
“Tearing down his poster at The Graden? What are we doing?” BT said. “Guy averaged 25, 10, and 5.
That’s what we’re doing?”
