C-Mac: Knicks fans partying in streets, calling for Celtics after game one need to 'chill a little bit'
Knicks fans took to the streets outside MSG to celebrate their game one win over the 76ers on Saturday night, and C-Mac said it needs to be toned down just a bit.
"I know this is the fanbase that was bing bonging after one win against Boston on opening night. But we gotta just chill a little bit," C-Mac said. "I'm pumped. I'm excited. But we don't need to take to the streets and chant 'We want Boston' after one win against Philadelphia, in a game where Brunson didn't even play well.
"I feel good about it. I think it says a lot, and there are a lot of indications for me that this is a series that might not even go six. But this is the same fanbase that is ripping up pictures of Julius Randle and stepping on it after game six last season…there's no reason to be in the streets screaming 'We want Boston' after one win."
