C-Mac: Knicks look like they can take on any team in Eastern Conference

After watching the Knicks throttle the Trail Blazers for a fifth straight win, C-Mac opened his show Wednesday morning riding high on what has arguably been the best team in the NBA since the New Year.

"They are rolling. It's unbelievable," C-Mac said. "This trade - I don't know how long it's gonna last, and I still think they need to make another move - but this trade has changed the way they play basketball."

The trade for OG Anunoby has not only given the Knicks some much needed 3-point efficiency and lockdown defense on the wing, but the departures of RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley has also allowed Quentin Grimes to find his stroke with more shooting opportunities, and for Miles McBride to shine with the second unit after his three-year, $13 million extension.

The Knicks seem to have taken the next step after adding a player they have coveted for over a year, and C-Mac is loving every minute of it.

"Instantly, this team, everybody's role is so much better defined," C-Mac said. "These guys are all starting to find their role and their groove.

"This team is starting to look like a team that is legitimately good enough to take on anybody inside the East. We are riding high right now."
