Knicks fans were widely critical of Richard Jefferson during Sunday’s broadcast of game four, with the former Net serving as the TV analyst alongside Ryan Ruocco.
Jefferson has done his share of Knicks trolling in the past, but C-Mac says there was nothing wrong with Jefferson’s analysis during game four on Sunday, even as some fans ripped him on social media for opining that Josh Hart may have embellished on a foul call, or other comments that fans deemed to be anti Knicks.
“Just shut up, honestly. Just watch the game,” C-Mac said. “Why are we so hung up on what the broadcaster says?
“This is a brand new Knicks team. For crying out loud, the fanbase took over the arena last night! And we’re still whining and crying because ‘the broadcaster wasn’t nice to us!’”
C-Mac says the Knicks fans have to shed the idea that the national media is still laughing at the state of the organization, because that simply isn’t true anymore, so there’s no need to put every comment under the microscope.
“Get it out of your heads,” C-Mac said. “The LOL Knicks is over, but it won’t be fully over until you get it out of your minds.”
