Knicks fans are still anxiously waiting for an update on Julius Randle, and the longer things drag on without an official announcement, the more nervous C-Mac gets.
"Good news travels quickly," C-Mac said. "The injury was Saturday, the MRI was Sunday. Today is now Thursday morning. Nothing? The early reports are the worst fears are avoided…but day after day, no news. The longer this goes on, the more I think they're doing further testing because they see a problem."
Randle suffered a separated shoulder against the Heat on Saturday, and reports leaked Monday that the Knicks were optimistic that they had avoided the disastrous outcome of season-ending surgery. But the team hasn't given a diagnosis yet, even after being four days removed from Randle's MRI.
It doesn't seem to be trending in the right direction for C-Mac.
"When was the last time someone dodged a bullet in this town?" C-Mac said. "The idea that nobody has come out and confirmed that yet, and that we are still waiting on Julius Randle, makes me very worried."
