Craig declares 'series is over' after Knicks take game two

Craig predicted the Knicks would win four straight after losing game one to the Heat, and he is only doubling down after New York used a late run to get by a Jimmy Butler-less Miami squad in game two.

“The series is over,” Craig said. “When it’s all said and done, New York City, like the Bermuda Triangle, took another soul yesterday, and it’s a wrap. Miami has no answer for Julius Randle.

“There was an uncharacteristic cold stretch by the Knicks, but when the game was on the line, down six with five minutes to go, the Knicks said, ‘We’re done messing around.’ Knicks in five.”

Craig added that the Knicks are not being given the same treatment as the Heat by some in the media and by some fans, who applaud Miami for keeping game two so close without Butler, while the Knicks weren’t given the same props for keeping it close in game one without their All-Star.

“When the Knicks played a really tight game without Julius Randle on the court, nobody says ‘Hey, give the Knicks some credit, they kept it close,’” Craig said. “But without Jimmy Butler on the court…everyone is like ‘Oh, the Knicks should be worried. Look how close the Heat played the Knicks without Jimmy Butler.’ That was crap.”
