Craig Carton is beyond hyped for the playoff atmosphere that will take over Madison Square Garden on Friday night when the Knicks return home for game three.

Now that New York has clinched that the playoff series will be at least tied thanks to a thrilling game one win, Craig says the atmosphere in The World’s Most Famous Arena is going to be one for the ages.

“Friday night is gonna be off the charts,” Craig said. “Friday night at Madison Square Garden – I know it was loud for that game against Atlanta when we split the first two ay home and won game two – the reality is that Friday night is going to be old school Madison Square Garden.

“I’m stoked. I think I might go on Friday. The building is gonna be rocking. It’s gonna be absolutely awesome.”

Evan wondered who Knicks fans would target their hatred towards since the rival Nets are currently getting spanked by the 76ers, while Trae Young is suffering a similar fate against the Celtics. But maybe the fanbase will instead direct all their energy to getting behind their team.

Or maybe not.

“We’ll find something,” Craig said. “Or we might just be positive Knicks fans. How about that?”
