Knicks draft pick Miles McBride must have been really hungry after carving up the Lakers in Wednesday night's Summer League game.
Shortly after McBride dominated on defense, shot a perfect 6-for-6 from downtown and poured in 22 points to go along with his seven rebounds, the 36th overall pick was seen eating out in Las Vegas, while still in uniform.
Ken O'Connor, an NBA writer for The Ringer, just so happened to be there to see McBride, jersey and all, enjoying a postgame meal.
Perhaps the rookie didn't want to change out of the clothes that he just balled out in, giving Knicks fans hope that they had found another potential impact player late in the draft to play alongside Immanuel Quickley, who played a big part in New York's surprising run to the playoffs last season after many questioned his selection at 25th overall.
McBride recently signed a two-year deal with a team option for a third year. The point guard out of West Virginia will make $925 thousand in his rookie year. The Knicks hope that rookie year consists of more all-around dominance like he showed on Wednesday. Maybe that will lead to late dinners in New York City while still rocking his home whites.
