Knicks fans are known for their relentless loyalty and unhinged excitement the second their team shows signs of promise, but in case anyone needed a reminder, there was this viral video from Sidetalk after New York's thrilling season-opening win over the Celtics in double overtime.
The video of crazed Knicks fans delighted, and maybe even frightened, some around the NBA world, including Evan Fournier, one of the heroes of the Knicks' victory by matching a career-high with 32 points in his blue and orange debut.
"What did I get myself into?" Fournier tweeted in response to the video, accompanied with some laughing emojis.
Fournier talked about the video on Friday, paying his respect to the wild fanbase so starved for a contender.
"I was laughing my ass off," Fournier said. "I thought it was hilarious. They're crazy but they're passionate, and as a player that's what you want."

The raucous celebration came after just the first game of the regular season. Fournier is probably in for even wilder partying outside MSG if New York can get back to the playoffs for consecutive years for the first time in nearly a decade.
