Evan on NBA revealing foul calls were missed on fateful Knicks/Sixers possession: 'Too freaking bad'

The NBA released its Two Minute Report on the Knicks' thrilling game two win over the 76ers, and revealed that New York should have been called for a foul on two different occasions during the fateful inbounds play where Tyrese Maxey lost the ball, leading to Donte DiVincenzo's game-winning 3-pointer.

The report also disclosed a missed defensive three second violation on New York just a minute earlier, which would have given the Sixers a free throw and possession.

That led Evan to ask the question to Knicks fans: "The league just told you they messed up three times in your favor. Do you feel dirty about last night?"

Evan wasted no time answering his own question.

"Here's the beautiful thing: you shouldn't feel dirty at all. At all," Evan said. "Who cares that they screwed up? Here's the beautiful part about sports: too freaking bad. Jeffrey Maier interfered with a fly ball in 1996. Too freaking bad. Carlos Beltran singled down the line and the umpire missed it. Too freaking bad. That's sports.

"It doesn't matter that it was a bad call. All calls are final…the Knicks won last night. Period stop. It doesn't matter."
