During his first update on Monday morning, C-Lo went through the statistical accolades of Jalen Brunson after becoming one of three players in NBA history to average more than 28 points and six assists per game while shooting over 40 percent from downtown in at least 77 games.
None of it was a surprise to Gio, who has been singing the praises of Brunson all season, and says the praise from others isn’t loud enough.
“You say all this stuff, and it’s like, we’re so used to it now,” Gio said. “He’s perfect.
He’s as close to a perfect player as we have.”
Jerry, filling in for Boomer, was in total agreement.
“I don’t know how you don’t root for a guy like this,” Jerry said. “He’s an electric player, and he makes everybody better.”
