The Knicks will begin what they hope is a deep playoff run this weekend, and Gio has more faith in this team than any other he can think of in recent memory.
“The only other time I was more confident in the Knicks than I am now is when they went on that initial run when they got Anunoby and Randle was healthy,” Gio said. “I still think there isn’t a team in the Eastern Conference that is head and shoulders better than the Knicks.
“I haven’t said that since Jordan left to play baseball, honestly. I know the Celtics record-wise are better than the Knicks, but we know they’re not that much better than the Knicks.”
