Sixers ownership has purchased 2,000 tickets to game six on Thursday night, which they will give out to first responders that are confirmed to be fans of the home team after the Wells Fargo Center was invaded by Knicks fans in game four.
Gio says it is “loser” behavior by the Sixers organization, which shouldn’t have to worry about their building being taken over in an elimination playoff game.
“The Sixers are worried. They are doing loser things,” Gio said. “They are worried about Knicks fans coming in and taking over the building for a second time. That is a loser thing to do if your fanbase can’t buy those tickets themselves.
“My confidence has not waned at all. I actually love the fact that the Sixers organization is distributing tickets out to the fans. It shows they are nervous about this, and that Knicks fans have them exactly where they want them.”
