Gio was not happy with Joel Embiid after his fouls in game three against the Knicks, and is convinced that the former MVP will not repeat his 50-point performance for the rest of the series.
“He had his big game. He had his 50-point game,” Gio said. “Is he gonna continue that the rest of the series? He’s known as a guy who doesn’t stay healthy and doesn’t consistently perform in the postseason, and I think he stays that way.
“I think the Knicks win in five.”
Boomer warned that Gio was “touching the money,” but Gio doesn’t believe in that stuff. He believes that the Sixers are “soft,” and won’t be able to respond once the Knicks come firing back in game four on Sunday.
“The Sixers are babies. The Sixers are dirty,” Gio said. “Embiid is a complete a-hole for what he did last night. Nick Nurse is a total wussbag. The Knicks are as tough, resilient, and good as I’ve seen them in decades…they’re gonna come out after this bullcrap yesterday, and they’re gonna win in Philadelphia, then they’re gonna win in game five…and send those idiots packing.”
