Josh Hart is already getting in the New York mood.
The newest member of the Knicks posted a video on Instagram Thursday afternoon, showing himself driving in his car and singing along to "New York," by Ja Rule, Fat Joe, and Jadakiss.
Hart is from Maryland and went to school at Villanova, but he seems excited to be heading for New York, where he will be reunited with college teammate Jalen Brunson, who showed his excitement about the deal in a viral video while he was back at Villanova to have his jersey retired.
Hart is a carbon copy of the kind of player Tom Thibodeau covets, an aggressive defender and an elite rebounding guard, though his scoring leaves something to be desired. Still, he shoots 50.4 percent from the floor, and is averaging 9.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game in 33.4 minutes.
