The Knicks won their biggest game of the season on Wednesday night, but may have lost their stay in the process.
Julius Randle came down awkwardly late in the first half of New York's win against Miami, looking to badly roll his ankle after being fouled on a shot attempt. While the Knicks wait for the diagnosis on Randle, the moment immediately after his injury was something to remember.
Randle, clearly in a great amount of pain, limped around the floor after suffering what was later announced to be an ankle sprain, having trouble walking on the recently-rolled ankle. Trying to will their star through the pain, Knicks fans chanted "MVP" in unison while Randle leaned against the base of the basket, trying to prepare himself for his free throws.
It was a warm show of appreciation for Randle's effort, and though he clearly looked to be in discomfort at the foul line, Randle hit one of two foul shots before leaving the game and not returning.
