Julius Randle continued his stellar season by leading the Knicks to their biggest win of the season on Thursday night, scoring 37 points while shooting 52 percent from the floor, and helping ice the game with clutch free throws in overtime.
But Randle went viral for his reaction to what occurred at the opposite free throw line.
With New York clinging to a one-point lead with under eight seconds to go, Jalen Brunson fouled Jaylen Brown, who went to the free throw line and came up well short on both foul shots, leading to a rebound by RJ Barrett, who was quickly fouled, and he hit his free throws at the other end to seal the win for the Knicks.
As the cameras on the TNT broadcast showed a dejected Brown staring at the hardwood after missing his free throws, Randle slowly came into the frame from behind brown, smirking and laughing at his opponent for the choke job.
The Knicks have been all-too familiar with missing key free throws late in games throughout the season, but they were on the right side of the foul shot battle on Thursday night, while Brown was trolled for letting the moment get to him.
